🎮 How It Works

1. Building a Modular Flat Screen TV (Walls)

1. Craft Flat Screen TV Panels (youtubetv:tv_flat_panel).
2. Place them against any wall. You can build:
   • 1x1: Compact personal monitor.
   • 2x2: Standard living room flat screen.
   • 3x3: Large widescreen television.
   • 4x4: Giant home theater monolith (or custom widescreen layouts).
3. The panels automatically bind into a single seamless widescreen monolith with sleek obsidian bezels, titanium trim, and an integrated bottom soundbar with a glowing power LED.

2. Placing a Retro CRT TV (Ground / Tables)

1. Craft a 1x1 Retro CRT TV (youtubetv:tv_crt_1x1).
2. Place it on the ground, a table, or a desk.
3. Enjoy authentic CRT scanlines, subtle screen curvature, and interactive 3D rotary knobs.

3. Playing YouTube Videos

1. Right-click the TV (or any panel of the multiblock) with an empty hand.
2. Click [Paste] to read a copied YouTube URL directly from your clipboard, or type/paste it into the text box.
3. Click [Play] to begin streaming immediately!

4. Using the Universal Multi-TV Remote

1. Hold the Universal TV Remote in your hand.
2. Shift + Right-Click any TV in the world to pair with it. Repeat on other TVs to pair multiple!
3. Right-Click in the air or on a TV to open the Remote Control interface.
4. Select whether you want to target ALL Paired TVs simultaneously or cycle through specific individual TVs.
5. Remotely toggle power, adjust volume, change channels, or cast new YouTube URLs from up to 64 blocks away!

Q: Do I need to install external software to play YouTube videos?
A: The mod includes automatic downloader support for yt-dlp and ffmpeg into ~/.youtubetv/bin/ so real video and audio play out of the box. If external tools are not installed or offline, the mod gracefully falls back to an internal visual storyboard playback engine!

Q: Can multiple TVs play different videos at once?
A: Yes! Every TV controller manages its own independent stream, volume, and playback state.

Q: Does the audio attenuate with distance?
A: Yes. Audio volume scales smoothly based on your player's 3D distance to the TV, fading out over 32 blocks.
