Youkai's Homecoming — 1.21.1 Unofficial Port

An unofficial NeoForge port of Youkai's Homecoming for Minecraft 1.21.1, made with permission from the original author lcy0x1. This port brings the full 1.20.1 content to the 1.21.1 platform.

Ported Content

This port includes but is not limited to:

• Cooking System — Stockpots, steamers, cuisine boards, and basin pressing, with dozens of Japanese dishes, soups, sushi, sake, and wines
• Touhou Project Character NPCs — Reimu, Cirno, Rumia, Koishi, Remilia, Marisa, Sanae, Yukari, Mystia, and more, with full home AI behavior
• Danmaku Combat System — Spell cards, danmaku projectiles, and related recipes
• Equipment — Reimu's Ribbon, Rumia's Hairband, Cirno's Ribbon, etc., with their original acquisition methods
• Youkaification System — Half-youkaified to fully youkaified state progression
• New Mobs — Boar, deer, crab, tuna, fairies, and youkai
• Biomes — Requires TerraBlender; without it, custom biomes will not generate
• Structures — Hakurei Shrine, wild youkai dens, Cirno's nest
• Crop & Brewing System — Grape cultivation and winemaking (missing from the official 1.21.1 version)
• 14 Status Effects

Changes from the Official 1.20.1 Version

• Touhou Little Maid Compatibility — With Touhou Little Maid installed, maids can be assigned the "Danmaku Battle" task, allowing them to use danmaku and spell cards. Damage scales with maid affection and base attack.
• Curios Compatibility — With Curios installed, all hairbands and hats can be equipped in the head accessory slot to activate their abilities (in 1.20.1 this required a separate compatibility mod).
• Danmaku Mechanics — Reduced invincibility frames for danmaku damage (4 hits per second).
• Character Adjustments — Some Touhou character abilities have been adjusted. The damage cap mechanic on Touhou characters has been removed.

Why This Port Exists

The official 1.21.1 version of Youkai's Homecoming only contains basic food and furniture content, missing most core features (characters, danmaku, youkaification, brewing, etc.). This port restores the full experience.

This port will continue to follow updates from the official 1.20.1 version.
