XP Skill Tree — Technical Summary

XP Skill Tree is a Minecraft 1.18.2 Forge mod by Vonix.Network that adds a server‑authoritative radial talent system. Players press K to open a scalable radial tree and spend Minecraft XP levels to unlock connected skills. The tree contains 41 skills across eight color‑coded paths: Arcane, Flame, Frost, Storm, Guardian, Ranger, Void, and Vitality.

The interface includes a central Awakening node, branch connectors, milestone mastery nodes, hover detail panels, zooming, and panning. All unlocks are validated server‑side, including prerequisites and XP costs. Player progression is stored in a capability and persists through death, logout, respawn, and dimension changes.

The mod optionally integrates with Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks, enabling compatible skills to modify spell power, max mana, and mana regeneration when that mod is installed.
