Changelog - Xia Lumberjack

[1.0.0] - First Official Release

✨ Added Features

  • Fast Felling Mechanic: Implemented the main system to chop down entire trees in a single swing by breaking a valid log block (#minecraft:logs).
  • Precision Control: Added the ability to temporarily disable fast felling by holding down the Shift (Sneak) key, allowing players to break individual blocks for building.
  • 8 New Tools: Integration of the complete set of Xia Axes in the following materials: Wood, Stone, Copper, Iron, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, and Netherite.
  • Custom Creative Tab: Added the "Xia's Lumberjack" tab to the creative inventory for quick and organized access.

📈 Progression and Integration

  • Custom Advancement System: Created a new, mod-exclusive Advancements tab with linear progression.
  • Dynamic Unlocking: Crafting recipes and advancements are naturally revealed upon collecting the base materials for each tier (e.g., Stick -> Cobblestone -> Copper Ingot).
  • Smithing Table Support: Native support for upgrading to the Netherite Axe using the Vanilla Upgrade Template system.
  • Enchanting Table Integration: Xia Axes are correctly registered under the minecraft:axes tag, allowing them to receive compatible enchantments such as Efficiency, Unbreaking, and Sharpness.

⚖️ Balance

  • Scaled Durability: Configured custom extended durability compared to base Vanilla tools to compensate for the intensive area-felling usage:
    • Wood: +10% (65 uses)
    • Stone: +15% (151 uses)
    • Copper: +8% (270 uses)
    • Iron: +18% (295 uses)
    • Gold: +5% (34 uses)
    • Emerald: +30% (2029 uses)
    • Diamond: +40% (2185 uses)
    • Netherite: +44% (2925 uses)
  • Enchantability: Magic absorption values adjusted individually based on the material tier.

Developer's Note: Due to a "minor discrepancy" in the fabric of reality, the custom durability values and enchanting table integration mentioned above are purely cosmetic and do not work at all. But whatever, the axe chops good!
