Crude Pitch and Pitch both work for this recipe Craft two Pitched Fuse to create 1 string.

This recipe includes the Flatstone which is obtained from crafting a digging stick with a Dirt block

Recipe should work for all vanilla meats. A variant of this recipe works on bone. Meat + Firestarting kit Log + Bowl

Pitch is used as a flammable adhesive. Coat string in it and use that fabric to create torches or to make a fuse for your tnt.

This same recipe works for creating 4 broken sticks, this is meant as a feature. Recipe works in reverse.

Stripping young flexible plant fiber and interweaving it can provide some useful binding material. Currently only Oak Saplings work, this will be fixed. Crude Blade + 3 Saplings

One of the essential pieces to create the Crude Blade, to obtain right click stones against the ground until one of them chips in just the right way to obtain a sharp rock. Stones drop from grass just like Mud and Kindling does.

You can craft the Firestartingkit by itself to return your string, can be right clicked on the ground to potentially start a fire, it may end up breaking before starting a fire at all however.

Burnt logs are an early source of charcoal/Pitch. A torch can be used in place of a Firestartingkit. Currently only Oak logs work, this will hopefully be fixed.

For playthroughs that don't have easy access to cobble, this should help.

Diggingstick + Dirt You can also right click the Flatstone to break it into another form.

A couple of flexible sapling provide the stripped branches/bark to use as a crude wrapping to create this rudimentary tool. Currently only Oak Saplings work, will fix. Brokenstick + knapped stone brokenstick + Sapling =Crude Blade

1.Gathering broken sticks. Kindling drops from grass. 1 kindling can be crafted into it's pieces. Take one of these sticks to use in the Crude Blade (starter knife) recipe

Also available to use is 1Carving Blade + Log and Crafting Blade + Log instead of 3 Crude Blades Stick some Sand in there, drop the Stable Compound in there and you have TNT!

Currently only regular Sand works, will fix.

Stick the fuse in and work some clay in to keep it from being so unstable.

Did not want to google the actual way to do this, lol pretty sure that would put me on a watchlist. 2 fat+ 2 Gunpowder it isn't meant to be shapeless but for now it has to be.
