What's new
What's new
Added
- A new "Crafting" page in the guide book — lists the Coin of Fate and Fate Mirror recipes right there, no need to dig through JEI or guess.
- Timber! — a new boon. Break one log with an axe and the whole tree comes down with it, canopy included, not just the trunk. Every extra copy lets it reach further, bridging the gap to a second tree standing nearby.
- Vein Miner — a new boon. Break one block with a pickaxe and the same block breaks in a growing square around it, oriented to whichever wall you were actually facing. Starts at 3x3, and every extra copy widens it, up to 9x9.
- Second Sight — a new boon. Now and then, hostile mobs nearby are briefly outlined through walls — a glimpse of what's coming, not a permanent x-ray.
- A coin toss or a Fate Mirror use now gets noticed by whoever's nearby — an on-screen nudge to anyone within earshot, so a big moment isn't happening in silence to just one player.
- The operator panel got a proper overhaul: filter tabs to show just boons or just banes, a x1/x5/x10 amount stepper so handing out several copies isn't several clicks, keyboard navigation, a hover tooltip for anything too long to read at a glance, and a confirmation step before "Reset them" / "Reset everyone" so neither can happen by accident.
- Trait search is smarter — it matches multiple words in any order, and now also searches a trait's internal id, not just its name and description.
Recipes
- Fate Shard can now also be found in a Shrine of Choices chest — a peaceful alternate route to the same crafting material, no combat required.
- Fate Mirror: 1 Obsidian + 1 Amethyst Shard + 1 Echo Shard (shapeless) — unchanged, still the standard recipe.
- Fate Mirror (alternate): 1 Obsidian + 1 Amethyst Shard + 1 Fate Shard (shapeless) — swap the Echo Shard for a Fate Shard if you'd rather not make the trip to an Ancient City.
Changed
- Dwindled's description no longer claims your reach suffers — it never actually did anything but shrink you, and the text now says so honestly.
- Minute now reads as clearly more severe than Dwindled, rather than sounding like the same trait twice.
Fixed
- A structure could crash the game's registry loading entirely on some worlds, taking every other datapack-loaded structure down with it.
- A landmark structure could generate floating or half-buried on sloped terrain instead of sitting flush on the ground.
- A rare server crash tied to specific terrain conditions has been fixed.
