Would You Rather By Buraca27 (WYRBB)

Every so often, you’re forced to choose between two permanent trade-offs. Stats change, controls shift, and visuals glitch. Both halves take effect immediately and neither wears off. How long can you survive the mess you build?

What's new

Added

  • Emboldened Foes — a new bane. Hostile mobs near you fight harder, and every extra copy raises how much harder, not just how likely.

Changed

  • Nether-Sick's damage ticks much less often — down to roughly a 1-in-10 chance per second, so it wears you down over a visit instead of draining your health bar in the first few seconds.
  • Traits weighing 3-4 can now actually show up in a "would you rather" question. They were being silently filtered out of every single dilemma before, cutting out over a fifth of the whole trait list without anyone choosing to.
  • The same dilemma won't repeat for a while after you've seen it — each player now has to work through roughly their last 100 questions again before anything can come back around.

Fixed

  • Power Napper could fail to heal you even after sleeping through an entire night. It used to be checked once a second, but the exact moment the game confirms "that was a real night's sleep" can land in a window far shorter than a second — easy to miss no matter how long you actually slept. Rebuilt on a direct hook into the game's own wake-up logic, so it can't be missed regardless of timing.
  • The Inverted trait could be cancelled out for free. It flipped your look direction by negating whatever the game had already computed — but if you also had your own invert-mouse setting turned on in the options menu, the two flips undid each other and the trait did nothing. It now always lands the same way no matter what your own mouse settings say.
