# Wynncraft Translator

A Minecraft client-side mod (built on Fabric) that translates content from the Wynncraft MMORPG server into other languages. The translation is displayed over the original text, allowing for a comfortable gaming experience even if you are not fluent in English.

## Features

- **NPC Dialogue Translation** — Translated lines appear at the top-center of the screen during conversations.
- **Quest Translation** — Quest titles and objectives are displayed next to the Wynntils quest tracker.
- **Item Description Translation** — Includes item stats, names, and descriptions.
- **Ability Tree Translation** — Names and descriptions for class abilities.
- **NPC Menu Translation** — Interfaces for blacksmiths, item appraisers, and other NPCs.
- **Character Info Translation** — Character menus (classes, professions, statistics).
- **Wynntils Quest Book Translation** — Translates the quest book provided by the Wynntils mod.
- **System Message Translation** — Translates in-game chat notifications, such as alerts for insufficient emeralds or other action-related messages.
- **NPC Name Translation** — Translates nearly all NPC names displayed above their heads.

## Integration with Wynntils

The mod is fully compatible with **Wynntils**: it detects the Wynntils quest tracker and displays translations directly beneath it. It can also function independently, without Wynntils installed. ## Custom Translations

Translations are stored in the `config/wynncraft_translator/` folder as JSON files:
- `phrases.json` — NPC dialogue
- `quests.json` — Quests and their objectives
- `items.json` — Items
- `skills.json` — Abilities (skill tree)
- `npc_menus.json` — NPC menus
- `character_info.json` — Character information
- `chat_messages.json` — System chat messages
- `npc.json` — NPC names
- `map_locations.json` — Regions and map locations

You can add your own translations or edit existing ones!

## Note

This mod works exclusively on the Wynncraft server. It automatically detects when you connect to the server and activates the translations.
