Client-side combat animations and customizable slash trails for Wynncraft, powered by Better Combat. Purely visual: no gameplay changes.
# Wynn Combat Animations
Brings **Better Combat** style attack animations and **customizable slash trails** to Wynncraft.
This is a **client-side, purely visual** addon. It does not change damage, hitboxes, attack timing or network packets: your clicks reach the server exactly as in vanilla.
## Features
- **Attack animations** when you swing your weapon, with a combo chain that resets after a short pause
- **Automatic weapon detection** by class, read from the weapon tooltip: Assassin/Ninja (daggers), Warrior/Knight (spears), Mage/Dark Wizard (wands), Shaman/Skyseer (relics)
- **Animation speed follows your weapon's attack speed**, read from the "(X hits/s)" line
- **Slash trails** with your own colors: main layer, outer layer, transparency, glow and size
- **In-game settings** through Mod Menu (or `/wynncombat config`), available in English and Russian
- Works only on Wynncraft by default, with an option to enable it anywhere
## Requirements
- Minecraft **1.21.11**, **Fabric**

- PlayerAnimationLib, Cloth Config, Fabric API (all required by Better Combat)
- Mod Menu *(optional)*
## Setup
1. Put the mod and its dependencies into your `mods` folder.
2. Join Wynncraft and hold a weapon. If the weapon isn't recognized, run `/wynncombat debug` and adjust `config/wynncombat.json`.
3. Open the settings from Mod Menu to pick your trail colors.
## Commands
- `/wynncombat config` opens the settings screen
- `/wynncombat reload` reloads the config file
- `/wynncombat debug` shows how the mod sees the item in your hand
## Limitations
- Only your own character is animated for now
- Spell casts and bows are not animated yet
- Better Combat's own combat system stays disabled on Wynncraft on purpose

This mod is **not affiliated with or endorsed by Wynncraft or Anthropic... (see note below)**. It only changes visuals on your own client, but server rules can change, so check the current Wynncraft mod rules before using it. You use it at your own risk.
Requires Better Combat by Daedelus (ZsoltMolnarrr). This mod does not include any of its assets.
