Small fix release. BetterEnd gets the pedestal fix (new in 30.5.4) and also contains the 30.5.3 loot fix. BCLibRemastered, BetterNetherRemastered and WorldWeaverRemastered have no code changes since 30.5.2; their version is aligned so the whole suite ships as 30.5.4.
Fixes by Mod
BetterEndRemastered
- No more "Tried to load invalid item" errors in the log. 20 of BetterEnd's structure templates (the End ruins and the eternal portal) contain empty pedestals that are stored with an air item. Every time one of them was generated, the game logged "Tried to load invalid item: Item must not be minecraft:air". This filled server logs during End terrain generation, often from the worker threads of chunk generation mods. Empty pedestals now load silently as empty. Pedestals with real items load as before. Pedestals in generated structures still look the same (empty).
- A used-up pedestal item no longer fails to save. When the item stack on a pedestal was used up, saving it could fail with "Cannot encode empty ItemStack". An empty stack is now simply not saved.
- Existing worlds need no migration. The structure files are unchanged.
- Also included from 30.5.3 (BetterEnd only release):
- End city treasure chests get BetterEnd's loot. The loot was never added: the code compared the loot table's key with a plain id, which can never match in 1.21.1. End city chests now contain, as intended, a chance of a ghast tear, up to three BetterEnd music discs and the smithing templates (Netherite, Thallasium, Terminite and Aeternium Upgrade, Handle Attachment, Leather Handle Attachment and Tool Assembly).
- Fishing in the End uses BetterEnd's End fishing tables. In the End you now catch BetterEnd fish, treasure and junk. Fishing in the Overworld, Nether and everywhere else outside the End gives the vanilla loot, as before.
- Existing worlds need no migration. A chest rolls its loot when it is first opened, so unopened End city chests in existing worlds get the new loot too; chests that were already opened keep their contents.
- Unchanged: BetterEnd's End village barrels (three of the village houses carry the template barrel) still give the Aeternium Upgrade in about one barrel in eight, as before.
BCLibRemastered
- No changes. Version aligned to 30.5.4.
BetterNetherRemastered
- No changes. Version aligned to 30.5.4.
WorldWeaverRemastered

Requirements
- Update all four Remastered mods together to 30.5.4.
- BetterEndRemastered 30.5.4 and BetterNetherRemastered 30.5.4 require BCLibRemastered 30.5.4 and WorldWeaverRemastered 30.5.4.
Testing
- New unit test
PedestalBlockEntityTest(6 tests): an air item and an empty tag load as empty without an error, a real item round-trips, a used-up item is not saved, and all of BetterEnd's structure templates (127 pedestals with an item tag) load without a single error. - New unit test
LootTableUtilTest(4 tests, from 30.5.3): End city treasure gets three pools incl. the Aeternium Upgrade template, fishing gets the End pool, other tables are untouched, the village template chest still lists the Aeternium Upgrade template.
