WorldLink 0.2.1 — Expanded Mod Compatibility

WorldLink 0.2.1 significantly expands player-data transfer compatibility for modded Minecraft.

New Compatibility

Sophisticated Backpacks

• Added transfer support for Sophisticated Backpacks.
• Backpack contents and backing data can now travel with the player.
• Added post-transfer verification of backpack data.
• Supports backpacks carried by the player and backpacks equipped through supported Curios slots.

Curios

• Added full Curios player-data transfer support.
• Equipped Curios items and slot state now travel between WorldLink destinations.
• Curios data is restored and verified after transfer.
• Compatibility automatically extends to mods that store equipment through Curios.

The Aether

• Aether accessory slots are now supported through WorldLink's Curios integration.
• Tested with Aether-specific equipment slots.
• No separate Aether compatibility addon is required.

Tool Belt

• Added support for Tool Belt's dedicated equipment slot.
• Tool Belts stored in normal Curios slots are supported through the Curios integration.
• Tool Belt's dedicated V-key slot is transferred through a dedicated WorldLink handler.
• Tool Belt contents are preserved during transfer.
• Dedicated-slot state is verified after restoration.

Project MMO

• Project MMO player-data compatibility is included in the expanded compatibility system.
• PMMO skill progression and experience can travel with the player.
• Restored PMMO data is synchronized and verified as part of the WorldLink transfer transaction.

Portal Reliability

• Fixed an issue where a WorldLink portal interior could remain active after its frame was damaged by an explosion.
• Creeper and TNT explosions now correctly invalidate affected portal frames.
• Invalid portals collapse using WorldLink's existing portal cleanup system.
• Tested with both Creeper and TNT destruction.

Player-Data Transfer

WorldLink can now transfer and independently verify multiple modded player-data systems during the same journey.

WorldLink continues to use its fail-closed transfer model: if a participating compatibility handler cannot safely capture or restore its data, the transfer is not silently treated as successful.
