WorldEditOverdrive 1.0.0 — Initial Release

  • Added paced execution for supported WorldEdit Enhanced 6.3.0 pastes on Minecraft 1.7.10, spreading preparation and placement across server ticks.
  • Added bounded working memory and temporary streamed storage, allowing paste workloads larger than the internal 64 MiB per-operation budget.
  • Added shared memory accounting with a 128 MiB global budget; supported work waits when working memory is busy.
  • Added adaptive pacing that uses available server headroom and backs off under load.
  • Added configurable shared tick-work budget and safety margin.
  • Added support for destination chunks that are not already loaded.
  • Added paced undo and redo for accelerated paste history.
  • Preserved supported WorldEdit paste behavior, including masks, transforms, ignore-air, metadata, tile data, entities, placement dependencies and session history.
  • Added runtime compatibility checks and normal WorldEdit fallback where acceleration is unavailable.
  • Added focused preparation, placement, pacing and history diagnostics, including scoped paste, undo and redo views.
  • Added automatic bounded worker processing, pacing safeguards for expensive mutations and chunk loading, and resource cleanup for cancelled or failed work.

Known limitations

  • Region commands such as set, replace, walls, faces, outline, center, overlay, naturalize, stack and move are not accelerated.
  • Unsupported operation graphs, fast-mode pastes and requests involving only ordinary WorldEdit history may use normal WorldEdit processing.
  • Schematic loading remains WorldEdit work.
  • Extremely large edits still take time; responsiveness takes priority over instant completion.
  • Large edits may cause client rendering or chunk-update FPS drops.
  • Performance depends on blocks, chunk loading or generation, lighting, neighboring updates and other mods.
  • Existing clipboard/world memory is outside Overdrive’s working-memory budgets. Temporary storage requires sufficient free disk space.
