In vanilla Minecraft we can chisel stones, polish them, and turn them into bricks but we have none of that creativity with woods...

REQUIRES FABRIC API

Blocks:

Plyboards: crafted with two slabs of any wood type stacked on top of each other.

Beams: crafted with two plyboards stacked on top of each other.

Smooth Planks: crafted by placing plyboards in a two by two pattern.

There are also stair variants and slab variants of plyboards and smooth planks, these are crafted as expected.
