Wolf Totems – Give Any Vanilla Wolf the Power of Undying
Wolf Totems is a lightweight, survival‑friendly mod that lets any vanilla wolf—tamed or wild—use a Totem of Undying just like a player.
🐺 Core Mechanics

Totem Imbuing: Sneak + Right‑click a wolf while holding a Totem of Undying to give it the totem. The wolf immediately absorbs it and stores the totem’s magic.

Death Prevention: If the wolf would die, the stored totem activates automatically. The wolf is saved from death and receives the same effects a player gets: Regeneration, Absorption, and Fire Resistance.

Totem Retrieval: Sneak + Right‑click a wolf that currently holds a totem to take it back. The wolf returns the totem to you as an item.
✨ Built‑In Marker
Wolves carrying a totem display a permanent visual marker that clearly shows they’re protected. When you retrieve the totem, the marker immediately disappears, indicating the wolf is no longer safeguarded.
