- Enhanced village layouts with walls, gates, and defensive positioning
- Natural integration into vanilla world generation
- Villagers that feel like part of a functioning society, not passive NPCs
- Designed for survival and exploration-focused gameplay
- Lightweight and performance-friendly structure system
About This Mod
This mod is not a magic or spell system remake—it focuses entirely on one of Witchery’s most overlooked strengths: its world design.
Instead of recreating Witchery’s supernatural systems, this mod restores the feeling of:
- defended villages
- organized settlements
- hostile-world survival pressure
- villages that can actually resist attacks
The goal is to make overworld exploration feel meaningful again, especially in modpacks where danger is constant.
Design Philosophy
- Faithful to Witchery’s village aesthetic and structure design
- Modernized for stability on newer Forge environments
- No magic systems, curses, or rituals included
- Focused entirely on world immersion and NPC defense behavior
- Built to support chaos-style modpacks where mobs are constantly threatening villages
Compatibility
- Works alongside most structure and worldgen mods
- Designed to be compatible with large mob mods and overhaul packs
- Does not modify vanilla AI beyond adding Guard Villagers
- Safe for modpack integration and worldgen stacking

Notes
This is a focused restoration project, not a full Witchery remake.
It aims to preserve the feel of Witchery’s villages while keeping the implementation clean, modern, and lightweight.
