✨ Overview
Wisp & Willow is a mystical expansion mod centered around nature spirits, ambient magic, and the transformative power of the old forest.
Drop an Oak Sapling and a piece of Deepslate into still water, and watch as the forest answers — granting you a Willow Sapling, the first step toward the unknown.
From there, craft sigils, awaken familiars, and uncover ancient rituals once whispered by wisps that wander the night.

🌌 Getting Started
- Drop an Oak Sapling and Deepslate into a water source block.
- Retrieve the Willow Sapling that appears — your first sign of attunement.
- Grow a Willow tree and craft the Willow Altar and Chalk.
- Follow the in-game grimoire to learn your first simple sigils and rituals.
From there, the world slowly opens into deeper magic, stronger familiars, and more demanding ritual patterns.
🪶 Inspirations
Wisp & Willow is inspired by mods like Botania, Occultism, and Ars Nouveau, but takes a gentler, ambient approach — more forest fairy tale than arcane laboratory.
Progression is designed to feel:
- Diegetic – explained in-world through the grimoire and environmental hints
- Exploratory – encouraging experimentation with chalk, items, and ritual layouts
- Cozy & Atmospheric – soft colors, glows, and familiar spirits rather than grim horror
