Whispers Below is a survival-horror mod for Minecraft Forge. A relentless creature watches from caves, climbs walls and ceilings, crawls through one-block gaps, hunts peaceful creatures, and emerges near the player every night.

Features

• A Cave Dweller with 100 health and an 80-block detection range
• Guaranteed nightly hunts with a directional spawn scream
• Wall climbing, ceiling crawling, one-block crawling, ambushes, stalking, and door breaking
• Adaptive resistance that learns repeated damage types
• A sanity system with false sounds, darkness, nausea, silhouettes, and screen hallucinations
• A battery-powered flashlight that flickers when the creature is nearby
• Replaceable flashlight batteries and a proximity sensor
• Torch destruction, frightening ambient sounds, and a death jumpscare
• An abandoned house generated near world spawn with supplies and hidden clues
• Underground lairs, loot, achievements, and decoy illusions

Requirements

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11
• Forge 61.0.1 or newer
• No additional mods are required

Installation

1. Install Forge for Minecraft 1.21.11.
2. Place the JAR file in your mods folder.
3. Start the game with the Forge profile.

Survival is intended for Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty. Nightly spawning and sanity effects are disabled for Creative and Spectator players. The creature does not spawn on Peaceful difficulty.
