Description

Whispering Depths

Whispering Depths is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft.

Something is watching from the dark.

At first, it only stands between the trees.
Then you begin to hear footsteps that do not belong to you.
Then the notes appear.
And the deeper you follow them, the closer it gets.

Features

The Watcher

A tall unknown presence that stalks the player at night, in forests, and deep underground.

It can:
- appear far away and silently watch you
- hide near trees
- vanish when you get too close
- follow the story progression
- become more aggressive as you uncover more notes
- hunt the player in later stages
- break doors, trapdoors, wood, and weaker blocks during attacks

Story Progression

The mod includes a staged story told through mysterious notes and abandoned locations.

You will find:
- an abandoned camp
- a cave altar
- a hunter cache
- deeper underground story sites
- strange names connected to the Watcher

Horror Atmosphere

Whispering Depths focuses on atmosphere, tension, and fear instead of simple jump scares.

The mod adds:
- distant footsteps
- whispers
- false sounds behind the player
- cave ambience
- night stalking events
- tree stalking behavior
- creepy chat messages from an unknown source
