Whaling (Alex's Mobs)

We do not condone the murder of whales. This mod is for historical flair and added gameplay.

This mod adds an extraordinary feature to Alex's Mobs. It provides a historically accurate experience by giving purpose to killing the Cachalot Whales in the game. By killing a whale in this mod, you will get a new item called Whale Blubber (1 or 2 per whale). This Whale Blubber can each be sold to a Level 3 Fisherman for 32 emeralds. Furthermore, you can smelt/blast/or campfire cook Whale Blubber to make Whale Oil, which is even better than lava. And if you want to speed it up, you can find the Whaling enchantment which can be applied on your trident to increase the damage against whales (Level 3 can kill a whale in 5 hits).

Now, you can go risk your life on the hunt for the valuable resource that is Whale Blubber, all for that profit.
