Grab a spray can and tag the world. Wet Paint puts real graffiti on Minecraft walls: paint sits on the surface where you aimed, crosses block seams freely, stops at outside corners, and lands on slabs, stairs, walls, fences and panes — any surface with a real face, at the depth of the surface you hit.
Getting started
Craft a spray can, screw a nozzle onto it, and right-click a wall. A white outline shows exactly where the paint will land before you commit. Hold the trigger and it goes on thicker until it can no longer hold on and starts running down the wall — real drips that crawl into place rather than appearing.
The tools
- Spray cans with five swappable nozzles, each with its own shape, spread and charge cost: small, medium and large circles, plus flat wide and upright tall ellipses.
- Acetone can — the same thing backwards. Same nozzles, same aim outline, but it strips paint layer by layer instead of laying it down, so a wall thins out under repeated passes instead of blinking clean.
- Paint rollers lay a broad rectangular stroke that turns to follow the way you are working. The extended roller reaches three blocks further.
- Stencils — cut sheets at the stencil bench by clicking and dragging on a grid up to three blocks each way, tape them to any face, and paint only lands where the holes are. Load a finished sheet back in to edit or duplicate it.
- Painter's belt — nine slots of cans, rollers and dye worn on your waist. Hold the wheel key (V) and flick towards a colour: it swaps in a can already loaded with it, or recolours and refills the tool in your hand. A tool that runs dry mid-tag quietly refills itself from the belt.
Glow paint
Right-click paint that is already on a wall with a glow ink sac and it starts to shine, casting real light into the space in front of it. Brightness is bought by the square metre: a single dot glows weakly, a properly covered face goes to full daylight. Wash, dissolve or break it and the light goes out with the paint.
Taking it off again
- Pour water over paint and it washes off as the water runs — a bucket at the top of a tag strips it block by block as the flow runs down.
- A wet sponge wipes one face clean instantly, overhang included.
- Acetone eats into paint under the nozzle; hold to strip it away. It never runs or drips.
- Breaking a block takes its paint with it.
Commands
/spray count [radius]— what is painted nearby/spray clear [radius]— wipe it (permission level 2)
Details
- Tools hold 128 charges shown as durability; a press costs 1–5 depending on the nozzle or roller. Sneak-use with a dye in the off hand recolours and refills; a nozzle in the off hand swaps nozzles.
- Spray a tool of one colour over another and the new coat covers the old.
- Works with JEI: the nozzle-fitting and dye recipes show up there when it is installed. JEI is entirely optional.
Compatibility
