Waefers are the furballs of the mountains. Prefering snowy climates, these cute, fuzzy giants float around, carefree and happy.
If you can lure one down with a GustBerry, you can ride them. They grow to be different sizes and speeds, though, and can be increased with the use of Reins. Waefers are passive by nature, but if you can tame one, they'll use their horns to ram anything in their way!
So hop on and get ready to explore!
(WARNING-Use of Gustberries may result in injury or death by fall damage, caution recommended!)
Gustberries are a new food item that makes the player briefly.... lighter? Waefers favorite food, used for taming (Although they'll accept wheat too).
Harness: Waefers need a harness to ride
Reins: Come in 3 tiers, Leather, Iron, and Diamond, used in addition to a harness, reins increase the speed (and therefore damage) that increases with each tier
