This is the first mod I created a while ago, and I finally think it's ready to be released. It will be part of a collection of mods that recreate Minecraft within Call of Duty.
Two new slots are added to the HUD where any item can be placed—either from the inventory or via commands. This feature is designed primarily for grenades or throwable objects from any mod, allowing the player to simply press a configurable key to automatically throw the item after a preset delay.
In the case of LRtactical, the mod respects the original animations; if the key is held down, the item is kept ready until the key is released. This is particularly useful for "cookable" grenades.
It also adds a key binding for weapon cycling—like in CoD—so that simply pressing that button is enough to switch hotbar slots.
And a proximity alert for items—such as grenades or flashbangs—; it warns you if they are very close, turning red if they are within damage range and gray if they are obstructed by a block.
Commands:
/weaponswap set (player) (slot 1/2) (item) (quantity) - gives the specified item to the chosen player.
/weaponswap clear (player) (slot 1/2) - removes the item from the chosen player's slot.
/weaponswap sethand (slot 1/2) (player) - assigns the item currently in your hand to the chosen player's slot.
/weaponswap sprintthrow (player) false/true - toggles whether the player can throw items while sprinting or will walk while throwing.
/weaponswap throwdelay (ticks) - sets the delay before the item is thrown (20 ticks = 1 sec).
With the Konig settings, you can control various things—specifically, whether the items in the slots reappear every time you respawn.
I hope you enjoy this mod. I have other Call of Duty mods in the works and will be releasing them soon. These will recreate game modes, the HUD, scorestreaks/killstreaks, and much more. If you have any suggestions for improvement, I’ll be keeping an eye on the comments.
A quick look at my upcoming mods that recreate Call of Duty in Minecraft, featuring killstreaks, a configurable HUD, field upgrades/specialists, a minimap, game modes, and more. All of this took a long time to develop, so I would appreciate your support.
