Wayfarer's Atlas

A cozy parchment map for NeoForge 1.21.1 that lives inside an item you carry — the Atlas.

The map

• Minimap and full world map drawn from the real colours of block textures — works with any resource pack and with modded biomes, blocks and fluids
• Relief and water depth — hills, valleys and lakes read at a glance
• Cave view — switches on by itself underground, or pick the height by hand
• Day and night — the map darkens at night, torches and lava glow
• Other worlds — look at the Overworld from the Nether (1 block there = 8 here), the End and modded dimensions
• North up, or a minimap that turns with you

The Atlas

• Every Atlas has its own map. Lose it and the map is gone. Hand it to a friend and they see everything you explored.
• Atlas slot next to your inventory — an Atlas kept there is not dropped when you die
• Atlas pages you put into the Atlas like items into a bundle:
  • Creature Radar — mobs around you, with their own faces (hold TAB)
  • Death Point — a skull marker where you died

Markers

• 100 pixel-art icons, colours, names
• Share a marker in chat — your friend gets an [Add marker] button
• Ruler to measure distances, trail of the last minute
• Teleport from the map (for operators)

Wayfarer's Map Table

A two-block table. Right-click it with your Atlas: what you explored stays on the table, what others left comes into your Atlas — faded until you go there yourself. Markers can be shared too.

For servers

serverconfig/wayfarers_atlas-server.toml — switch off teleport, radar, death page, map table, trail or showing players.

Crafting

Keys: J — map, N — new marker. Settings: Mods → Wayfarer's Atlas → Config or the gear on the map.

Optional: Curios — wear the Atlas as a charm. Required on both client and server. Free to use in modpacks.

• Слот атласа рядом с инвентарём — атлас в нём не выпадает при смерти
• Страницы атласа: радар существ (мобы с мордочками, зажми TAB) и место смерти (метка с черепом)
• Метки со 100 иконками, ими можно делиться в чате; линейка и след за последнюю минуту
• Стол путника — обмен картами и метками между атласами; чужие места бледные, пока сам туда не дойдёшь

Клавиши: J — карта, N — новая метка. Нужен и на клиенте, и на сервере. Можно свободно добавлять в сборки.
