Waybound is a story-driven class RPG for Minecraft 1.20.1. Choose between three complete playable classes, develop your character through combat and discovery, unlock new abilities and stats, complete class questlines, craft signature equipment, and meet the characters who guide your journey.

Everything is introduced inside the game through class selection, dialogue, quests, a configurable RPG HUD, and the Field Manual—so you won’t be handed a pile of unexplained items and told to figure it out yourself.

Choose Your Class

Marshal

An armored battlefield leader who protects allies and disrupts enemies with Aura of Order. Build Morale, control the fight with Trip and Challenge, sustain your position with Beacon of Light, and survive desperate battles through Desperate Fury.

Follow Thargus’s class campaign to unlock new abilities, specialized halberds and longswords, and three increasingly powerful sets of Marshal armor.

Rogue

An evasive fighter built around Stealth, positioning, and decisive attacks. Blind enemies, strike from behind, disappear with Vanish, prepare devastating assaults, and rely on high Evasion when a plan goes sideways.

Complete Renwald’s Rogue campaign, craft swords, daggers, and specialized armor, and gain a permanent companion who follows you and gathers nearby loot.

Druid new

A battleground healer built around cultivating their own resourses with their beat stic...I mean healing staff. Cleanse harmful effects and apply both regenerative and direct healing!

Uncover Dordrict's Druid campaign, craft new staves, upgrade your Growth Cultivation, and uncover powerful armors that bite your opponents back with briary thorns.

The Lodge

The Lodge is Waybound’s central adventuring hub. Meet Thargus, Chandra, Dordrict, and Renwald as you progress through class quests, unlock equipment, trade supplies, reset earned stat points, and prepare for the next stage of your journey.

ParCool! has supported optional integrations but is not required for Waybound’s core progression.

Version 0.2.0

- Waybound Version 0.2.0 includes the complete Marshal, Rogue, and Druid experiences. Sorcerer is currently being worked on and is planned for a future major update.

- Multiplayer is supported, but Version 1 parties should use no more than one Rogue. Renwald’s multi-Rogue ownership behavior is a known limitation planned for a later update.

- Party system is now active! Additional multiplayer testing is required.

- Druid is now a selectable class!

- Dordrict's voiced dialogue has been updated with a new voice, now fluid througout the campaign.

Development Note

Hi! I've only been playing Minecraft a few months now, and Waybound is my first Minecraft mod. There will almost certainly be bugs I wasn't able to anticipate before release. Please be patient while I track them down, improve the adventure, and finish the Sorcerer class. Thank you for playing and helping me make Waybound better! :)
