Wave Motion Gun : 波動砲

Overview

This mod introduces multi-block weapons inspired by sci-fi space battleships.

⚠️ An energy mod is REQUIRED

This mod contains no power generation of its own. You must install a mod that can output Forge Energy (FE), and feed that FE into the Wave Motion Engine block. Without an FE source, the Wave Motion Gun can never be charged, and you will not be able to fire it at all.

Any mod that outputs FE will do — Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, and so on. This mod does not depend on any specific one.
The Wave Motion Engine holds up to 150,000,000 FE and accepts up to 150,000 FE/tick.
A single shot costs about 107,000,000 FE at minimum, and scales with range and blast radius. Expect to need a serious power plant.
The Shock Cannon does not use energy — it runs on ammunition, and can be fired by a redstone signal.

Features

Wave Motion Gun: A large-scale multi-block weapon that fires a highly destructive energy beam capable of penetrating terrain and entities. Requires FE from an external mod.
Shock Cannons: Turret-style weapons designed for base defense and combat. Uses shells (standard / Type-3 / Wave Motion Cartridge); no energy needed.
Multi-block Construction: Weapons are not placed as single blocks. They must be constructed by assembling specific components such as muzzles, barrels, chambers, the Wave Motion Engine, and control units. Optional modules like the Tachyon Accelerator raise the gun's power ceiling — note that these are structural upgrades, not a fuel or energy source.
Quiz-based Supply System: Request airdrops from a Communication Beacon by answering quizzes. Optional AI question generation is supported (see below).
In-game Manuals and multi-language support.

Getting Started

Craft the Manual: Create the in-game manual item first. It contains recipes and structural blueprints for the multi-block machines.
Set up FE power: Build a generator from an energy mod of your choice and route FE into the Wave Motion Engine. This step is mandatory — the mod provides no generators.
Assemble the Weapon: Follow the manual's structural guidelines to build the Wave Motion Gun or Shock Cannon.
Fire: Charge the weapon with the required energy and trigger the firing sequence.

Note: The weapons in this mod cause massive terrain destruction. It is highly recommended to back up your world data before firing them near important structures.

Recommended (optional)

Valkyrien Skies 2 + Eureka! — lets you mount the main gun on a moving ship. The mod works perfectly well without them.

AI Quiz Feature (optional, off by default)

The supply quiz can optionally be generated by an AI. Enabling it sends requests to an external API (Google Gemini / OpenAI-compatible) and requires your own API key. The key is stored in the client config only and is never sent to the server. If you do not use this feature, no external communication occurs and the built-in question set is used.

⚠️ エネルギー系MODが必須です

本MODは発電手段を一切持ちません。 FE(Forge Energy)を供給できるMODを別途導入し、そのFEを波動エンジンブロックに入力する必要があります。FEの供給源が無いと波動砲を充填できず、発射まで到達できません。

FEを出力できるMODであれば何でも構いません(Mekanism / Thermal Expansion / Immersive Engineering など)。特定のMODに依存してはいません。
波動エンジンの貯蔵容量は 150,000,000 FE、入力レートの上限は 150,000 FE/tick です。
1回の発射に最低でも約107,000,000 FEを消費し、射程と爆発半径に応じて増加します。相応の発電設備が必要になります。
ショックカノンはエネルギー不要です。弾薬で動作し、レッドストーン信号でも発射できます。

主な機能

波動砲: 地形やエンティティを貫通する、極めて破壊力の高いエネルギービームを射出する巨大なマルチブロック兵器です。外部MODからのFE供給が必要です。
ショックカノン: 拠点防衛や戦闘に適した砲塔型の兵器です。弾種はエネルギー弾・三式弾・波動カートリッジ。エネルギーは不要です。
マルチブロック建造: 砲門、砲身、波動薬室、波動エンジン、制御盤などのブロックを指定の構造に組み合わせて構築します。タキオン粒子加速機などの追加モジュールは威力の上限を引き上げますが、これらは構造上の強化パーツであり、燃料やエネルギー源ではありません。
クイズ補給システム: 通信ビーコンからクイズに答えて補給を要請します。AIによる問題生成にも対応しています(任意・下記参照)。
ゲーム内マニュアル(整備手帳) および多言語対応。

導入手順

マニュアルの作成: まずゲーム内マニュアルをクラフトしてください。必要なレシピやマルチブロックの構造図が記載されています。
FE電源の用意: 任意のエネルギーMODで発電設備を作り、FEを波動エンジンへ供給してください。本MODは発電手段を持たないため、この手順は必須です。
兵器の組み立て: マニュアルの構造図に従い、ブロックを配置して波動砲やショックカノンを構築します。
発射: 必要なエネルギーを充填し、発射シークエンスを起動します。

※注意: 本MODの兵器は大規模な地形破壊を伴います。重要な建築物の周辺で使用する場合は、事前にワールドデータのバックアップを取ることを強く推奨します。

推奨MOD(任意)

Valkyrien Skies 2 + Eureka! — 動く船に主砲を搭載して運用できます。未導入でも問題なく動作します。

AIクイズ機能について(任意・既定では無効)

補給クイズをAIで生成する機能を搭載しています。有効にすると外部API(Google Gemini / OpenAI互換)へ通信し、利用にはユーザー自身のAPIキーが必要です。キーはクライアント設定にのみ保存され、サーバーへ送信されることはありません。使用しない場合は外部通信は発生せず、標準の問題が使われます。
