Warriors: Minecraft Mod

Live the world of Warriors by Erin Hunter inside Minecraft. Play as a cat, choose your Clan, shape your look, and experience the story through cutscenes and two very different game modes.

Status: This mod is a work in progress. Features may change, and some listed below are still planned.

Features

Game modes

You pick one game mode when you begin. Each one has its own gameplay, mechanics and style, so choose wisely: you only get one choice per world.

Vanilla

Play the normal Minecraft experience, but as a cat.

• Regular Minecraft world, including hostile mobs like zombies
• Mine at normal speed
• Go and beat the Ender Dragon
• Keep your cat form and traits throughout

Realistic

Live the life of a warrior. This is a Hardcore, RPG-style experience in a custom dimension.

• Be born, get a mentor, and complete patrols (quests)
• Become a warrior, and maybe one day a deputy or leader
• Hostile and unrealistic mobs do not spawn
• Mining is heavily limited, so the focus is on story and roleplay
• You live until you die. If you die, the world is over and you must start a new one
• Skip patrols and break the warrior code, or follow it and join StarClan after death

Cutscenes

• Spawn / Rebirth: choose your game mode, appearance and more
• Apprentice ceremony: just like in the books
• Warrior ceremony: just like in the books
• Deputy ceremony: just like in the books
• Leader ceremony: a reimagined version of the moonstone ceremony, where you receive your nine lives
• Post-death: wake up in the afterlife you earned, either StarClan (good ending) or the Dark Forest, with special interactions in each

Clans

Make the Clans your own.

• Choose how many Clans exist
• Choose the terrain each Clan's territory generates on
• Name your Clans
• Further customization options

Customization

Make your cat truly yours.

• Tinting
• Simple premade coat patterns
• Eye colors
• Accessories

Planned: a deeper pattern system, similar to Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition on Roblox, and other extras.

Requirements

Dependencies: none. No other mods are required.

Installation

1. Install Forge for the Minecraft version above.
2. Download the latest .jar from CurseForge, Modrinth or the GitHub releases page.
3. Put the .jar in your mods folder.
4. Launch the game and create a new world.
