โ ๏ธ WARDEN NIGHTMARE โ ๏ธ
It never dies. It never leaves. It always finds you.
A survival horror mod where an unkillable Warden hunts you from the very first second of your world.
Gather, gear up, reach The End and slay the Ender Dragon... before it catches you.
๐ฉธ How It Starts
Create a new world from the red WARDEN NIGHTMARE button on the title screen. You spawn at night, in a thunderstorm. The ground shakes. The Warden digs out of the earth right in front of you, roars, and blasts you away with a Sonic Boom.
You have 15 seconds. RUN.
๐๏ธ The Hunter
- Unkillable - it cannot be damaged or killed (configurable).
- Never despawns - it never digs back underground and never gives up.
- Location pings - every 5 minutes it learns your exact position. Between pings it only searches around the last place it knew. Move away and it loses you... until the next ping.
- Hunts by sound and sight - get too close or too loud and it charges straight at you.
- Digs up near you - outrun it by more than 128 blocks and it bursts out of the ground nearby.
- Smashes through walls - hiding in a house will not save you.
- Gets faster every time it finds you.
- Follows you into the Nether and The End - even during the dragon fight.
- Bigger than a normal Warden.
๐ฑ Fear Effects
The closer it gets, the worse it feels:
- ๐ Your heartbeat speeds up and gets louder
- ๐ฎ๐จ Heavy, shaky breathing
- ๐ณ Screen shake
- ๐ The screen darkens and fog closes in
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Distant roars, whispers, drones and ground rumbles
- โ ๏ธ "IT KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE" - when it gets your location
๐ How To Win
Kill the Ender Dragon. If you survive, the nightmare ends and the Warden is gone.
Extra difficulty: no sleeping, difficulty is locked on Hard, and after you die you respawn with only a short head start.
