# Warborn Core 1.9.7

A cleanup release. Nothing new is added; dead and unneeded code from earlier versions was removed.

## Removed

**Mixins**
- `NbtDepthLimitFixMixin`. It never covered `level.dat`, which uses a different reader, so it protected nothing.
- `HiddenCreativeTabsMixin`. The MineColonies creative tab it hid no longer exists.
- `MinecoloniesAllowPvpMixin`. MineColonies already skips its attack protection when colony protection is turned off.

**Recipes and loot**
- Recipe overrides that could never be used: Air Staff, Stonecaller (both banned), Create Big Cannons steel ingot from nuggets, the Magistuarmory steel ingot blasting recipe, and the Create water wheel override (all three already removed by Reliable Recipes).
- The Wind Spellbook entry in the Ominous Vault loot and its loot modifier. The book is banned.

**Tags**
- The `c:plates/steel` tag copy, which was identical to Epic Knights' own.
- 24 entries for banned items in the Hackers 'n Slashers weapon tags (tin weapons, Astralite Cleaver) and the `c:ingots/steel` tag.

**Other**
- Astral manuscript language keys. No Astral school exists any more.
- Two removed mods (Essence Requiem and Discerning the Eldritch) from the smithing armor trim blocklist.
- A leftover Spartan Fire clause from the Dragonsteel damage handler.
- The `irons_spellbooks:hydro` entry from the empty-school filter (the school does not exist) and the Aeropic school remap (the spell is already disabled).
- Two unused optional dependency entries: `idas` and `culturaldelights`.

## Fixed

- The build no longer points at the old Amendments 2.1.10 jar, so it builds against the installed 2.1.11.

## Upgrade notes

- **MineColonies PvP:** colony protection must be off in the server's `minecolonies-server.toml` (`enablecolonyprotection = false`). With it on, MineColonies blocks player attacks inside colonies again.
- No config changes are needed. Delete the old `warborn_spell_core-1.9.6.jar`; the mod id is unchanged.
