War Talent is a Minecraft Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that introduces a talent progression system designed to reward players for their actions and experience in the world.
Instead of relying entirely on equipment and enchantments to become stronger(or choosing whatever you want in the skill tree), War Talent encourages players to develop their own abilities through gameplay. Fight enemies to improve your combat potential, jump to develop your mobility, sprint to build your speed, survive dangerous encounters to strengthen your defenses, and heal to develop your regenerative abilities.
Damage boost:
Boosts your damage, acquire through attacking mobs, crouch to activate.
Jump boost:
Boosts your jump height, acquire through jumping(more than 1 block high), crouch to activate
Max Health boost:
Boosts your max health, acquire through staying in max health for a long time, always active.
Regeneration:
Regenerate your health without any potions or food, acquire through regenerate a lot of HP, crouch to activate.
Speed boost:
Boosts your speed, acquire through sprinting for a long time, and is always active.
Resistance:
Gives you resistance effect, acquire through taking damage, crouch to active.
Fall resistance:
Reduces fall damage, acquire through taking fall damage, always active.
Sharp Shooter:
Increase your arrow damage only, acquire through dealing arrow damage, always active.
Every player was given a random talent once they first join the world(can be turned off in gamerule, defaut: on)
List of talents that may become a natural born talent:
Damage boost

Max Health Boost
Regeneration
Resistance
If you crouch and have the talent, you’ll be given 3 seconds(60 ticks) of the effect of that talent.
List of talents that need to be activated by crouching:

Every talent has its own levels, and leveling up these abilities makes it become stronger, for example, leveling up from damage boost 1 to damage boost 2 will deal more damage than the previous level whenever you activate it. You can track all progressions through advancements.

Jump boost: 3 levels
Max Health boost: 5 levels
Regeneration: 3 levels
Speed boost: 3 levels
Resistance: 3 levels
Fall resistance: 3 levels
Sharp Shooter: 3 levels
Level1: attack 350 times
Level2: attack 600 times
Level3: attack 900 times
Level4: attack 1200 times
Level1: jump 350 times
Level2: jump 700 times
Level3: jump 1000 times
Level1: stay on max health for 30 minutes
Level2: stay on max health for 50 minutes
Level3: stay on max health for 75 minutes
Level4: stay on max health for 120 minutes
Level5: stay on max health for 150 minutes
Level 1: 300 hp healed
Level 2: 600 hp healed
Level3 : 1000 hp healed
level1: 300 damage taken
level2: 600 damage taken
Level3: 1000 damage taken
Level1: receive 300 fall damage
Level2: receive 600 fall damage
Level3: receive 1000 fall damage
Level1: sprint for 20 minutes
Level2: sprint for 40 minutes
Level3: sprint for 60 minutes
Level1: deal 300 arrow damage
Level2: deal 600 arrow damage
Level3: deal 900 arrow damage
