Description

Minecraft Wanted

Bring a GTA-style wanted system to Minecraft while keeping the vanilla atmosphere.

Minecraft Wanted transforms villages into living law-enforcement systems. Commit crimes, get reported by witnesses, attract the attention of guards, and try to escape before the situation gets out of control.

🚨 Wanted System

Your actions can increase your wanted level from 0 to 6 stars.

  • Minor crimes can make you wanted.

  • Killing villagers, players, or village defenders increases your wanted level.

  • Fires, attacks, theft, crop destruction, animal attacks and other crimes can be detected.

  • Crimes are only reported when witnesses can actually see what happened.

  • Large groups of witnesses can increase the severity of a crime.

  • Your wanted level can decrease when you successfully escape and remain unseen.

⭐ 6 Wanted Levels

Each wanted level makes the situation progressively more dangerous.

1–2★ — Local guards begin searching for you.

3★ — Stronger and more numerous guards join the pursuit.

4–5★ — Elite forces and adaptive guards make escaping much harder.

6★ — The highest threat level is unlocked after killing enough guards during the same pursuit, activating the most dangerous response: flying drones.

🛡️ Guards & Pursuits

Villages can deploy different types of guards to hunt you down:

  • Normal Guards

  • Archers

  • Heavy Guards

  • Elite Guards

  • Bounty Hunters

  • Flying Drones

Guards become faster and more dangerous as your wanted level increases. They can pursue you through difficult terrain and adapt to your movements.

👁️ Witness System

Crimes aren't magically detected.

Villagers and village defenders can act as witnesses when they have a clear line of sight to the crime.

This means you can use the environment to your advantage: break line of sight, hide, escape into the darkness, and avoid being seen.

However, attacking the village's defenses is always treated as a serious crime.

💰 Reputation & Bounty

Your actions affect your reputation with individual villages.

A hidden bounty system keeps track of how dangerous you are without requiring an economy mod.

🖥️ GTA-Style HUD

Your wanted level is displayed in the top-right corner of the screen, inspired by GTA.

No stars are displayed when you're not wanted.

🎮 Commands

The mod also provides commands for managing the wanted system:

/wanted

/wanted set

/wanted add

/wanted clear

/wanted bounty

🌍 Designed for Minecraft

Minecraft Wanted is designed to fit naturally into Minecraft's vanilla world rather than replacing it with a completely different style.

Villages, villagers, iron golems and other vanilla elements become part of the wanted system, creating dynamic chases and situations without requiring an economy or roleplay server.

Commit crimes. Get noticed. Escape the law.
