The Observatory and the Photo Booth can be upgraded past level 1
Both huts shipped with a research that unlocked them and then, without saying so, held them at level 1 - the Builder simply answered "You have to unlock the research to upgrade this building" and there was no research left to do. MineColonies reads the same number twice: an unlock effect below 1 keeps a hut from being built at all, and a hut whose level has caught up with that number cannot be raised any further. Both effects were worth 1.0; every hut in MineColonies itself, and the Departure Point in this mod, is worth 5.0. They are now too.
Nothing to do in an existing colony: the research you have already finished is worth five levels the moment the world loads, and the blueprints for levels 2 to 5 were in the mod all along.
The photographer's bed is counted by the colony again
A worker who sleeps at their workplace gives up their bed in a house, and MineColonies raises the colony's ceiling by one to make up for it - that is how guard towers and the Observatory work. The Photo Booth had the bed and the worker but not the marker MineColonies looks for, so hiring a photographer quietly cost the colony a citizen: it reported that there was no room for anybody new while a house plainly had a free bed. The Photo Booth now carries that marker.
Both fixes are proved on a headless server before release: a colony from nothing, both researches finished, every hut walked from level 1 to 5 and refused at 6, and the colony's ceiling read before and after each worker is hired (55 checks).
Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.x. Needs MineColonies and Structurize.
