What's new

Open Companions 0.6.0 (final version)

VoxelMind Local is now Open Companions. The VoxelMind name moves to Nyvoro's new standalone game (voxel-mind.com). The mod is no longer developed; this is the final version and it keeps working with the AI services built into the mod, your own key or a local model.

  • New name and icon: mod name, menus, key bindings, chat prefix, brains and the sign-in page.
  • Nothing breaks: the mod id stays voxelmind_local, so your config, worlds, companions, brains and /vml commands keep working.
  • A short credit line under the menu points to the new game.
  • Help is only available in the Discord.

Minecraft Java 1.21 through 26.2, with a separate Fabric file for each supported version.
