What's new

  • The Void Crucible has art of its own: a plain panel let into the Displacers' abyssium casing, under a top ringed in crystal glass that frames its floating result, the ring amethyst while it upgrades. Its block gains a working state, true only while it upgrades, and it gives light only then. (#48)
  • The Mutation Chamber has art of its own: its sides are a crafting grid let into the Displacers' abyssium casing, whose cells glow amethyst once awake, over an obsidian bottom. (#43)
  • The Unmaking Chamber (voidworks:unmaking_chamber; a grindstone, amethyst shards and crying obsidian), placed Dormant at 1600 void energy. Awake, at mutationInterval, it breaks down what its input holds into the one crafting-table recipe that makes it, read in reverse: it takes the recipe's result count, spends 100 void energy per ingredient item from every mote store touching it together, and each ingredient item comes back alone by chance at its yield, into nine outputs. An item several recipes make, or none, has no breakdown, nor does one whose recipe has no fixed ingredients or whose result carries data components; an ingredient that accepts several items gives its first, and one that leaves a remainder never comes back. It waits, spending nothing, until its outputs can take a full return and its stores can pay. Its item face takes only items with a breakdown, and Jade shows the breakdown, its cost, its yield and what stalls it; its sides are a gearbox clutch let into the Displacers' abyssium casing, its lights amethyst once awake. (#45)
  • The voidworks:breakdown data map on items (data/<namespace>/data_maps/item/breakdown.json) fills in or bars a breakdown: {"values": {"minecraft:stick": {"count": 4, "ingredients": [{"item": "minecraft:oak_planks", "count": 2}]}}} gives sticks one, which two recipes make, and an empty ingredients list bars an item. Voidworks ships no entries. (#45)
  • unmakingYieldStart (0.25), unmakingYieldCap (0.75) and unmakingYieldHalving (25600) in voidworks-server.toml: an Unmaking Chamber's yield starts at the first and rises toward the second, each halving of void energy spent on breakdowns closing half the gap; broken, it forgets what it has spent. (#45)
  • Void Crucibles share a rate within crucibleRadius blocks on every axis, a cube, so Crucibles on a diagonal, up to 8 blocks along each axis by default, now share where they did not. (#46)
  • A working Void Crucible glimmers: end rod sparks drift up about the result floating above it, and stop while it is stalled, empty or waiting, done; VoidCrucibleBlockEntity.glimmers() reads it. (#47)
  • A Void Crucible waiting, done, on a full output holds its floating result still, so it reads apart from a working one; VoidCrucibleBlockEntity.floatingStill() reads it. (#46)
  • Jade's upgrade line on the Void Crucible no longer ends in "paid in time": it reads like the Mutation Chamber's, the Rung's count, result and void energy cost. (#46)
  • Every Voidworks item is in the suite's Works tab (libworks:works), in a fixed order, and no longer in vanilla's Functional Blocks or Tools & Utilities tabs.
