Void Chronicle is a magic, exploration and cosmic-horror mod for Minecraft (NeoForge 26.1.2). You follow in the footsteps of Dr. Ilvane Kest, a researcher who came to study the Great Void. Measure the Rift, learn the grammar of glyphs, awaken ancient altars, and cross into a world where the Void has already won. The more she uncovers, the less sure she is of what is real, until she stands face to face with The Observer.

📖 The Void Chronicle

The book is both your guide and your journal.

• 74 topics on a ring-shaped map, revealed as you experience what they describe.
• An 8-chapter progression path with an objective, a recipe and a result for every step. The ! button always takes you to the next one.
• Every step unlocks a page of Dr. Kest's journal. Read them all to learn what happened to her.

✨ Glyph magic

• Build spells like sentences: 1 Form + Effects + Modifiers, with more than 60 glyphs (projectile, area, beam, healing, frost, antimatter ray, summon ally...).
• Weave them at the Spell Bench or the Weaving Altar, and cast them through the Void Glove, which has 4 tiers and a spell wheel.
• Every spell drains your Void Reserve and leaves a scar on the world: the Rift.

🌌 The Rift

Magic has a price. The Rift grows wherever you cast, and slowly on its own as the days pass:

• 150+: crystal-covered undead start to walk.
• 200+: the ground whispers and ghosts arrive in waves.
• 300+: the Abyss, where darkness becomes a presence.

Seals, stitching rituals and Void Alloy armor help you keep it under control.

⚒️ Workbenches, rituals and machines

• Inscription, Foundry, Cutting and Rune benches, each with its own tool and animated parts.
• Study Table: learn new recipes by solving a connect-the-dots puzzle across 7 levels.
• Weaving Altar with columns and a Matrix: distill the 6 essences (Void, Entropy, Stasis, Flux, Genesis and Gravity), perform rituals, and plant and tame Aura Nodes.
• Runes and Rune Circles, Rite Orbs, Aura Tower, Still, Refiner, Antimatter Reactor, Collector, Disseminator and more.
• Void Automaton: build your helper in a multiblock forge and program it with visual blocks (harvest, mine, store, defend...).

🌀 The Crystal Rift

Open an antimatter portal with the Rift Key and step into a dimension of its own:

• 10 biomes, each with its own beast, plant and food (Abyssal Forest, Ashen Barrens, Frost Hollow, Whispering Dunes...).
• Crystalline ores, unique woods, the Void Village with a merchant, temples, catacombs and a lost library.

👁️ Creatures and bosses

• 27 creatures built from scratch, with high-resolution skins, animations and their own sounds.
• 4 bosses summoned with rune patterns: the Faceless Watcher, the Star Devourer, the Dream Weaver and The Observer.
• At half health every boss transforms: it freezes, breaks out of its own shell in a flash of light, and comes back stronger with a new appearance.

🌳 The Void Tree

Press K. There are 28 skills across 4 branches: Body, Arcane, Rift and Craft. Every topic discovered in the Chronicle is worth 1 point, so your character grows along with the story. Skills can be refunded.

🎒 Gear

Five metal tiers (Antiferro, Void Alloy, Runic Steel, Singularity and Stellar), special tools, and accessories (rings, amulets, belts and a mantle) with their own effects.

📦 Requirements

• Minecraft 26.1.2 with NeoForge 26.1.2.
