📖 Introduction

Vanilla Minecraft sleep is an instant, jarring black screen fade. You click a bed, the screen cuts to black for two seconds, and it is suddenly broad daylight. In that instant snap, nocturnal immersion is completely severed: you never experience the tranquil rotation of stars, passing weather systems, or the gentle break of dawn. Furthermore, singleplayer and multiplayer servers suffer from arbitrary sleeping skips that freeze world processing, crops, and furnace smelting.

True Sleep reimagines nighttime resting under the Vanilla Outsider design philosophy. Instead of skipping time with a black fade, True Sleep smoothly accelerates world time in a cinematic Time-Warp simulation. Watch celestial bodies arc across the sky in high-speed timelapse, furnace ores smelt, crops advance through growth cycles, and clocks tick harmoniously toward morning. Features Quiet Clock synchronization, insomnia phantom mitigation, cat cuddle morning gifts, and wake-up transition easing.

• Insomnia & Phantom Relief: Resting in bed accurately resets your player's insomnia timer (stat.time_since_rest), shielding you from Phantom attacks even if the sleep cycle is interrupted early by monster proximity.

Step 1: Installing for Singleplayer or Servers

1. Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 26.2+ / 26.3+.
2. Place true-sleep-x.y.z+.jar into your mods/ directory.
3. Launch Minecraft. Sleep in any bed to experience the new timelapse night!

Step 2: Cozy Cabin Setup

• Place your bed near a window overlooking the landscape or starry sky.
• Have a tamed cat follow you to bed: it will curl up on your feet, purring softly.
• Right-click the bed: watch the moon sweep across the sky, sunrise illuminate your room, and receive your cat's morning gift!
