Vivy - Armor Hide & Stats
Client side mod for Fabric 1.20.1. It hides armor on players and shows the armor they are wearing above their head, like a nametag.
Only the client with the mod sees this. Servers do not need it and other players keep seeing your armor normally.
What it does
- Hides armor on players, yours and other players too.
- Shows a panel above each player with the icons of the equipped armor pieces.
- Durability next to each icon, remaining or spent, colored by how damaged the piece is.
- Enchanted pieces get the vanilla glint on the icon.
- Optional defense points that the armor gives.
- Works on other players as well, so you can check their gear without asking.
Panel
- Vertical list or horizontal row.
- Position: above the player or a corner of your screen, 4 corners available.
- Size, background opacity and max render distance.
- All of it in the Mod Menu config screen, or press O in game.
The Division
If The Division mod is loaded, the interface turns violet and the panel also shows a segmented health bar.
Controls
- K: toggle the panel
- J: toggle armor hiding
- O: open the settings
- Defense points: no default key, bind it if you want
Requirements
- Fabric Loader and Fabric API
- Fabric Language Kotlin
- Mod Menu is optional, only for the config button
Notes
- Client side only. Installing it on a server does nothing.
- In first person your own body is not rendered, so the panel goes to the top of the screen. You can turn that off in the config.
- Elytra is not armor, so it stays visible.
- Config file: config/vivyarmor.json, created on the first launch.
- License: All Rights Reserved.
