What's new
Vital Relics 0.7.16
New Relics
Added the Gravity Anchor, an epic charm featuring the new No-Fly Zone passive skill.
- Regularly pulls hostile living entities onto the first solid surface beneath them.
- Operates within a 24-block radius.
- Grants additional attack damage, interaction range, armor, and armor toughness.
Added four affordable alternatives to the Cherry Cross and Celestial Aegis:
- Cherry Petal Pendant — uncommon necklace.
- Cherrywood Cross — rare necklace.
- Gilded Circlet — uncommon head relic.
- Astral Halo — rare head relic.
Added recipes, chest acquisition, dedicated textures, and translations for all new relics.
Spell Improvements
- Improved Grave Shift so targets are buried beneath the first collidable block below their feet.
- Grave Shift no longer relies on a fixed vertical offset.
- Improved handling around unusual terrain, void spaces, and the Nether roof.
Target Detection
- Unified hostile-target detection across spells, ranged attacks, and passive skills.
- Hostile creatures are now recognized directly while preserving existing targeting and alliance checks.
- Allied entities and owned tame creatures remain protected.
Visual Improvements
- Reworked the Bleeding Sigil into a recognizable blood-marked metal seal.
- Reworked the Cursed Crimson Rune into a distinct engraved stone tablet.
- Preserved the original texture files for compatibility with customized configurations.
Balance and Acquisition
- The Gravity Anchor’s No-Fly Zone now refreshes every five ticks.
- Removed the Gravity Anchor from random chest loot; it remains obtainable through crafting.
- The new uncommon and rare relics provide reduced benefits using substantially cheaper materials than their epic counterparts.
Localization
Added English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese names and descriptions for the new relics and No-Fly Zone skill.
