What is Villagers Update?
As the name suggests, it's an update covering villager interactions, villager AI improvements, village upgrades, new features added to Pillager Outposts, golem improvements, Minecraft bug fixes, new tasks dedicated to villager professions, and other less important things.
What are the village and pillager outposts improvements?
Villages will now be slightly larger and will always have a house belonging to a profession, with all professions always present in a village. Subsequently, villages may sometimes have a Pillager Outpost nearby, where Pillager leaders will sometimes group up with the Pillagers and alert the player to prepare, as they are going to plunder the village. This will be somewhat like a bad omen, but since there are fewer Pillagers, it will be easier than a regular bad omen. However, the Pillagers will mainly steal and ruin crops, then take them, and steal chests. If they stay at a door for a while, they can break it and kill the Villager, then steal the chest instead of attacking the player. So, if the player defeats many Pillagers or kills the leader, the Pillagers will escape, and the surviving Villagers will reward the player with the "Village Hero" title. The surviving Pillagers will store their stolen items in their chests at the Pillager Outpost. in progress
Which professions were modified in this mod?
Cleric in progress.- There will be times of the day when the cleric will make healing potions, and other times when villagers will go to the cleric, and the cleric will go to his workplace and speak as if he's giving a ceremony, and when they're done, all the villagers will leave. Then there's a time of day when the villagers go to the village bell and interact, and the cleric will give the healing potions he's obtained to a villager. The villager then drinks them and doesn't give him another one until the next day. Sometimes, he may also give it to the player.
The cleric villager is prohibited from reproducing.
Butcher some things have the mod.- Now the butcher will have his own animals, so the butcher villager will use the ones that appear when the village is generated. Every time the villager feeds his animals, they will reproduce. Each day, he will kill an animal to prevent overpopulation. If there are too many, he will kill the necessary ones. Obviously, he will collect meat or leather from the animals he kills and then use the smoker to cook whatever he has. At night, he will store his belongings in a chest. He will lower prices for the player based on the number of items he has. If the player steals something while the villager is storing his belongings and the villager notices it's missing, his reputation will drop, and the villagers will raise their prices or even stop trading with him.
Fisherman.- It is the most advanced because it makes the villager go to the nearest river or a place with water to fish from his working moments and after a while he will get a fish or other things but at some point when he goes to interact with other villagers he will first save his fish and also depending on how many fish they have he will lower the prices of their exchanges and if a player steals when the villager checks and realizes that he is missing something all the villagers will raise the prices or even not trade with the player
