What's new
VillagerShop 1.7.0 — The Config update
New: Server configuration
- New config file:
config/villagershop-common.toml(villagershop-common.jsonon Fabric). - Each upgrade can be enabled or disabled, and its item can be changed.
- Storage: max chests (1–16) and slots per chest (total capped at 432).
- Trades: max offers per shop (1–8).
- In multiplayer, the server's values apply and are sent to every player when they join.
Upgrades follow the config
- A disabled upgrade has no slot and no effect. The remaining slots close the gap.
- Upgrade items that are no longer valid (upgrade disabled, item changed, extra chests or emerald blocks) are returned to the shop's stock. Nothing is lost.
Stock over capacity
- When capacity drops (config lowered or a chest removed), the extra items are kept in locked slots instead of dropping on the ground.
- Click a locked slot to get the item back in your inventory. If your inventory is full, it drops at your feet.
- The stock now packs itself: when a slot is emptied, the following items move up. Locked items move back into capacity as soon as there's room.
Guide
- The in-game guide adapts to the server: items and limits match the active settings, and disabled upgrades don't appear.
Fixes
- Stock display could fall out of sync after scrolling or reopening the counter (hidden or misplaced items).
- Double tooltip on locked stock slots.
Notes
- Existing worlds and counters load without changes, and all default values match previous versions.
- Clients that are already connected receive config changes on their next login.
