Villager Sneak Breeding

Tired of setting up beds, food and doors just to get one more villager? Villager Sneak Breeding adds a quick, silly way to grow your village: pay a villager, sneak behind it, and a baby is on the way.

How it works

1. Give an emerald to any adult villager, with or without a job. There are three ways:
   • throw an emerald next to it and it picks it up;
   • Shift + right-click it with an emerald in your hand;
   • trade with it, paying in emeralds.
2. Within 10 seconds, hold Sneak within 2 blocks of the villager.
3. The villager turns its back to you and crouches, and you lock in behind it. While you hold Sneak, your character switches between standing and crouching every 0.3 seconds, and the villager makes a looping sound.
4. Let go of Sneak at any time to cancel.
5. Hold it for the full 4 seconds: a baby villager is born, every time, with breeding hearts.

Cooldown

After a baby is born you have to wait 10 seconds before trying again, unless you drink a Milk Bucket, which resets the cooldown right away. Every success uses up the emerald, so you need a new one each time.

Details

• Any adult villager works, including unemployed villagers and nitwits.
• While locked in you can't walk or jump, and you and the villager don't push each other.
• The animation shows correctly in third person (F5) and to other players on a server.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.3
• Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
• Fabric API
• Install it on the server and on every client.
