Description
Stop rerolling by hand. Start trading.
Ever spent twenty minutes breaking and placing a lectern, hoping a librarian finally offers Mending? Villager Reroller does it for you. It rerolls the villager's trades over and over, reads the book on offer, and stops the moment it finds the enchantment you want at a price you're happy with.
๐ฅ What it does
๐ Pick what you want
Open the menu and set every enchantment a librarian can sell to Want, Ignore or Avoid. Enchantments sit in drop-down sections by type (Swords & Axes, Tools, Armor, Helmet, Boots, Bow, Crossbow, Trident, Mace, Fishing Rod, Universal, Curses), each with its own icon. Hover any enchant to see what it does, what it works on and its cheapest possible price. Want all, Avoid all and Clear at the top apply to everything listed. There's a search box and a Wanted/Avoided filter. Choose a minimum level for each one (the default is max level only). Enchantments from other mods show up as well.
๐ Set your price
The cheapest possible price for a book is 100%. Choose how far above that you'll go: 100% means only the cheapest possible roll, 150% accepts anything up to 1.5x the best price. The menu shows the emerald limit, with an emerald icon, right next to the percentage, so you always know what you're accepting.
๐ฏ Calibrate once
Press Calibrate, then do it by hand one time: place the lectern next to the villager, right-click the villager, break the lectern, and (optionally) right-click your bed. The mod remembers the spots and repeats it. Chat messages guide you through each step.
๐ฅ Your camera never moves
The mod uses the remembered positions directly, so it never turns your view. Look around, check your inventory, or shuffle a little while it works.
โก It rerolls for you
Press B and it breaks the lectern, picks it up, places it again, opens the trades and checks the book, over and over. When it finds a match it stops with the trade screen still open and the lectern in place, so you can buy the book right away.
๐ Sounds
A chime when rerolling starts, a low note when it stops, and a fanfare when your book is found. Turn them off in the menu.
โณ Patient with slow villagers
Villagers sometimes take a while to notice a new lectern. The mod keeps waiting (up to 60 seconds) and, if the villager still hasn't taken the job, places the lectern again instead of giving up. If a broken lectern gets stuck somewhere, it just carries on with the spare lecterns in your hotbar.
๐ Sleeps through the night
At night villagers go to bed instead of taking jobs. The mod pauses, sleeps in your bed, then walks you back to the spot you were standing on and carries on. No bed? It waits for morning and resumes by itself.
๐ก Safety stops
It stops by itself if you take damage, you open another screen, the villager or lectern gets out of reach, or the trades stop changing (the villager was already traded with). Press B any time to stop it yourself.
๐ฒ Accept any enchant
Not picky? Turn on "Accept any non-avoided enchant" and the mod stops on any enchant you haven't marked Avoid, as long as it's within that enchant's own price limit.
๐พ It remembers
Your choices are saved to config/villagerreroller.json, so they're there next time you play.

๐ฆ Requirements
Fabric: Minecraft 26.3 (needs Fabric Loader and Fabric API)
Client-side only, so nothing needs installing on the server.
Use a villager that has never been traded with, keep a lectern (or a couple of spares) in your hotbar, and put a bed a few blocks from where you stand.
โ Good to know
This mod automates actions. It's fine in single-player and on servers that allow it, but many servers ban automation or have anti-cheat that flags it, so check the rules first. Calibration is per world and per session. Walking to and from the bed goes in a straight line, so keep the path clear. This is a beta, so please report anything odd on GitHub.
