Play chess against villagers! A Play Chess button on the trade screen starts a full game - their skill scales with trading level, from Novice pushover to near-unbeatable Master.
The engine thinks on a background thread, so the server never stutters.
Reach the last rank and the promotion picker opens.
Beat the villager and the board says so.
Every legal destination is highlighted; illegal moves simply are not offered.
No items, no commands - the button is right there on the trade screen.
