Play checkers against villagers! Their skill scales with trading level, from a Novice who walks into every trap to a Master who converts won endings.
English rules: a man crowned mid-jump stops immediately instead of continuing as a king.
Open any villager's trade screen and the Play Checkers button is right there.
A Master-level villager converts won endings and does not blunder.
The pieces that are obliged to take are outlined; clicking anything else flashes red.
Multi-jumps are entered a hop at a time, with continuations highlighted.
Take every piece, or leave the villager with no legal move.
