[1.21.11] Village Standing v1.1.0 (NeoForge)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
# Village Standing 1.1.0
For Minecraft 1.21.11 on Fabric and NeoForge. Standings, history and configs from 1.0.0 carry over on either loader.
## Highlights
- Villagers react to you: friends get greetings and Heroes get gifts, while Outlaws see head shakes and alarm bells.
- New Bounty Board block with 3 daily requests per player, paid in standing and emeralds.
- Outlaws can work their way back with a 5 step penance at the board.
- Ranks Outlaw, Suspect, Neutral, Friend, Respected and Hero, shown before your name in chat and the player list.
- Iron golems escort and guard Respected players, and Heroes can call one with a bell.
- A picture-based standing screen (press R) with Overview, How it works and History tabs.
- Quiet until you first deal with a villager. No messages or HUD bar before that.
## New
- Bounties include deliveries, a night watch, clearing monsters, market trades, curing a zombie villager and defending a raid.
- The Bounty Board recipe is shown as a picture, and both mod recipes unlock in the recipe book.
- Looking at a villager shows your rank and price change under the crosshair.
- Outlaw bounty (opt-in, needs PvP on): killing an Outlaw gives +10. Team-mates, Outlaws and repeat kills do not count.
- Curing (+15), winning a raid (+15) and ringing a bell in a raid (+2) raise standing. Breaking a bell (-8) or hurting a pet near villagers (-10) lowers it.
- `/reputation top`, `/reputation outlaws`, a Ranking tab on servers, and `/reputation privacy hide` to opt out.
- Seven new advancements, a toast notification mode and an API for other mods.
## Changed
- Everything is per player. Only the optional outlaw bounty lets another player change your standing.
- Price changes stack with vanilla discounts from curing villagers and Hero of the Village.
- Only village iron golems hunt Outlaws. Golems built by players stay out of it.
- Much less text, and pressing E closes the mod's screens. The HUD bar defaults to the top left.
## Fixed
- Standing no longer carries over from one singleplayer world into another.
- Safer saving with backups. The NeoForge 1.0.0 save file is picked up automatically.
- Config options that did nothing on NeoForge now work. Outlaws can use name tags and leads on villagers again.
- Golems calm down when you stop being an Outlaw, wandering traders no longer count, and the screen shows your server's real numbers.
## Balance
- Trades give +1, up to 5 per villager and 20 per day, with fewer points after 3 trades with the same villager. Sleeping does not reset daily limits.
- Hurting a villager (-3) or golem (-5) only counts when damage is dealt, once per 5 seconds per mob.
- Defending villagers (+2) only counts for monsters attacking them, up to 20 per day.
- Negative standing recovers 1 point every 5 minutes, silently. The Fruit of Absolution only resets a negative standing to 0.
