🧠 Welcome to the Villager Simulation
This mod turns Minecraft into an AI-powered villager simulation sandbox.
You are the observer.
You don't have to manually tell every villager what to do. Instead, you give the simulation an objective, choose how many villagers should participate, and watch them figure out how to accomplish it.
Want them to build a castle?
Want 100 villagers to create a city?
Want them to dig an underground civilization?
Want them to build a giant bridge?
Type it in.
The villagers will plan the objective, divide the work, and physically perform it inside the Minecraft world.
🏗️ Watch Them Actually Build
Villagers don't simply make buildings appear.
When they are told to build something, they physically:
- Walk to the construction area
- Decide what tasks need to be done
- Divide the work
- Obtain blocks from their Creative inventory
- Place blocks
- Construct different sections
- Help other villagers
- Move between tasks
- Continue until the objective is complete
You can stand inside your glass observation box and watch the structure grow block-by-block.
👥 Up to 100 Villagers
Choose anywhere from 1 to 100 villagers for a task.
Every villager is an individual AI agent.
They have their own:
- Tasks
- Positions
- Paths
- Decisions
- Progress
- Behavior
They cooperate without becoming one giant hive mind.
If you give 50 villagers the objective:
Build a castle
they can split into different construction teams and work on different sections simultaneously.
⚡ Fast Simulation
Nobody wants to watch a villager place three blocks and then take a 45-minute lunch break.
The simulation is designed to be fast while remaining visible.
Villagers physically perform their tasks, but construction and other actions are accelerated so projects don't take forever.
More villagers can also work on different parts of large projects simultaneously.
🎒 Creative Inventory
Simulation villagers have access to a Creative-style inventory.
They don't need to spend most of the simulation:
- Mining
- Chopping trees
- Searching for materials
- Farming for supplies
They can get the blocks and items necessary for their objective and then physically use them.
This keeps the focus on the simulation, rather than resource grinding.
🧠 Seven-Second Planning
Every simulation begins with a 7-second planning phase.
The screen shows the simulation preparing:
Understanding objective
Selecting area
Creating tasks
Dividing workers
Preparing simulation
Then:
7 → 6 → 5 → 4 → 3 → 2 → 1
The villagers begin.
🔬 Your Own Minecraft Experiment
The point isn't to give you a fixed set of commands.
You can experiment.
Try:
Build a medieval city.
Then try:
Build a giant fortress around the city.
Then:
Connect the city to another village with roads.
The simulation figures out the steps needed to pursue your objective.
How to Play
1. Enter the Simulation
When the simulation world loads, you spawn inside a large glass observation box.
The simulation uses a Superflat environment so you have a clean area to observe.
Below you are 100 villagers, initially looking up toward you.
You are the observer.
2. Open the Prompt
Press:
I
This opens the Villager Simulation menu.
3. Enter an Objective
Type what you want the villagers to do.
For example:
Build a giant castle
You aren't limited to predefined commands.
4. Choose the Villager Count
Enter how many villagers should perform the task.
You can use:
1–100 villagers
100 is the maximum number of villagers assigned to a single task.
5. Start
Press:
START SIMULATION
The 7-second planning phase begins.
Watch the simulation prepare the objective.
6. Watch the Villagers
After the countdown finishes, the villagers start working.
They independently choose tasks while cooperating toward the same objective.
For a castle, you might see different villagers working on:
- Walls
- Towers
- Gates
- Floors
- Rooms
- Decorations
You can walk around the glass observation area and watch them work.
7. Inspect the Simulation
Use the simulation HUD to see:
- Objective
- Number of villagers
- Active villagers
- Idle villagers
- Progress
- Current simulation status
You can also inspect individual villagers to see what they are currently doing.
8. Control the Simulation
Use the simulation controls to:
Pause
Stop the villagers temporarily.
Resume
Continue the simulation.
Stop
End the current simulation.
Restart
Start the objective again.
Example
You enter:
Objective:
Build a medieval city with a castle, farms, roads and walls
Villagers:
100
Press START.
The simulation spends 7 seconds planning.
Then 100 individual villagers begin working.
Some construct houses.
Others build roads.
Others construct the walls.
Others work on farms.
Others work on the castle.
You don't have to manually control them.
You simply watch the civilization develop.
The Goal
Give them an idea.
Choose how many villagers get to work.
Watch the simulation figure it out.
