VieTure Tech Factory Age
An industrial tech mod for Fabric (Minecraft 1.21.8 and 1.21.11), with a matching Bedrock add-on.
Build a factory that actually runs: generators feed real cables, machines wear out and overheat, belts carry items you can see, and oil has to be found, pumped and refined. Everything lives in one mod. The only requirement is Fabric API.
β‘ Power that behaves like power
- Generators: coal, biomass, geothermal, solar, wind, water, tidal, steam, diesel, hydrogen gas turbine, solar tower with heliostat mirrors, nuclear and fusion, plus a Lightning Collector (50,000 FE per bolt)
- Power only travels through cables. Machines that merely touch a generator get nothing.
- Cable loss: power fades over distance. Bare cable loses the most, insulated cable less, high-voltage lines almost nothing.
- Overloads: a bare cable run past its rating smokes and then burns through. Circuit Breakers trip on overload; right-click to reset them.
- Power poles and high-voltage towers: string sagging overhead wires up to 24 blocks (poles) or 48 blocks (2048 V towers), and step them down with a Transformer. Bare wires shock whoever touches them.
- LV / MV / HV voltage tiers, batteries with an output face, wireless power
- Multimeter and Energy Meter (comparator output) to see what your grid is doing
π 60+ machines
- Three-step ore processing: crusher β ore washer β centrifuge for extra ingots and trace metals
- Electric furnace, compressor, press, alloy smelter, assembler, chemical reactor, rolling mill, wire drawer, laser engraver, blast furnace, concrete mixer, 3D printer, pattern crafter, quarry, block breaker/placer, item teleporter, XP collector, auto enchanter, matter fabricator and replicator, and more
- Two upgrade slots: Speed, Efficiency, Fortune, Energy, plus Silk Touch and Range for miners
- Per-machine control: on/off, redstone mode, live FE/t and progress
- Side configuration with the Electric Screwdriver: any face can be input, output or closed. Output faces push products straight into the next chest or pipe.
- Sneak + Wrench picks a machine up with its stored energy
π§ Realism (configurable)
- Wear: machines slow down as they wear out and stop at 100 %. Fix them with Lubricant Cans or Machine Parts, or let a Worker Robot do it.
- Heat: machines heat up and shut down when overheated. Water, ice and coolers keep them running.
- Pollution and radiation: burners smog their chunk, and uranium poisons you without a hazmat suit
- Electromagnetic storms make machines glitch
- Sparser world generation: ores and oil are rarer and deeper. Mineral Outcrops on the surface hint at what lies below.
ποΈ Multiblock structures
- Distillation tower (2-5 trays) that splits crude oil into diesel, plastic, sulfur, hydrogen and lubricant
- Large blast furnace with a 3Γ3Γ3 refractory shell
- Nuclear cooling tower and a reactor control panel with SCRAM
- Dam turbine powered by the water column above it
π¦ Logistics and transport
- Real conveyor belts: items ride visibly on the belt, climb slopes and turn corners. Three speeds, and every belt can filter up to 5 items.
- Item pipes: extraction, vacuum and filter pipes; Robot Arm, Storage Controller, Industrial and Vacuum Hoppers
- Fluids: pumps, fluid pipes, and tanks with a glass window showing the level
- Electric Truck: drivable, with a 27-slot cargo box, recharged at a charging station
- Ore ropeways, train stations with a timetable, tank wagons and pipeline pumps
- Delivery drones fly items up to 64 blocks; Cargo Loader/Unloader for chest minecarts
π’οΈ Oil and industry
Oil fields generate underground. Find the Oil Shale, put a Pump Jack over it, refine the crude into diesel and plastic, and burn the diesel in a Diesel Generator.
π§ Exploration and world
- Abandoned industrial towns, ancient mines, workshops and oil rigs, plus underground labs with rare parts
- Meteorite strikes (including giant ones) leave craters of meteorite ore
- Geyser hot springs, giant ore veins, Sulfur Ore in the Nether, Void Crystal Ore in the End
- Treasure Maps that lead to buried caches, and a Survey Compass that points to the nearest site of every kind
- Advanced Blueprints from ruins and meteorites unlock end-game machines
π· People, economy and progress
- Engineer villagers who trade steel, wire, circuit boards and blueprints
- Worker Robots that walk your factory and oil worn machines
- Night-time thieves who raid unguarded chests. A Security Terminal keeps them away.
- Mutated mobs in heavily polluted land
- Delivery contracts and a commodity exchange with supply-and-demand prices
- An Ages of Industry advancement tab: Steam β Electric β Oil β Atomic β Future
π Gear
- Backpacks in five tiers (18 to 54 slots), worn in the chest slot. Upgrading keeps the contents, and B opens the one you wear.
- Electric tools and armor: 3Γ3 Mining Drill, tree-felling Electric Axe, Mining Laser, and a chestplate that doubles as a jetpack
- Exosuit modules (strength, speed, jump, oxygen), Ore Beeper, Headlamp, Walkie-Talkie
- Auto-pickup: broken blocks go straight into your inventory
πΎ Farming
Harvester (9Γ9, replants), Tree Cutter, Fish Farm, Sprinkler, Fertilizer, Animal Feeder and Ranch, Compost Bin, Biomass Generator, Industrial Apiary and Food Processor.
π Easy to learn
- In-game handbook for new players, and a Machine Manual with every machine recipe
- JEI support (optional): one recipe tab per machine family
- Every VieTure recipe also shows in the vanilla recipe book
- Exact energy and progress tooltips on every machine screen
π Getting started: your first hour
Everything up to the first generator is crafted by hand.
- Mine VieTure copper and tin ore and smelt the raw chunks. Wires need VieTure copper ingots, not vanilla ones.
- First steel without machines: 4 iron nuggets β 2 Scrap Metal, then smelt the Scrap Metal β Steel Ingot.
- Machine Frame: 8 iron ingots around 1 steel ingot.
- Copper parts: 1 copper ingot β 4 Copper Wire; 4 wire β 2 Copper Coil.
- Coal Generator: 3 copper coils on top, furnace / frame / furnace in the middle, 3 iron ingots below.
- Cables: Wheat + Coal β Biofuel Cell β Rubber; 2 Copper Wire + 2 Rubber β 4 Energy Cable.
- First machines: Electric Furnace, then the Crusher to start ore processing.
- Machine Manual (book + circuit board + iron ingot) lists every recipe in game.
π± Bedrock Edition
A matching Bedrock add-on runs the same machines through the Script API, with no experimental toggles:
VieTureTech-x.y.z.mcaddon: Bedrock 1.21.110 through 26.xVieTureTech-x.y.z-legacy-1.21.20.mcaddon: older games (1.21.20 - 1.21.10x)
On Bedrock, machines take inputs from a chest above and output to a chest below (or work with belts), and a Guide Book opens an 11-chapter handbook.
Java only: machine GUIs, side configuration, logic gates, item storage blocks, backpacks, the Electric Truck, tank wagons, pipeline pumps, engineer villagers and the advancement tabs.
π Java + Bedrock on one server (Geyser)
Install Geyser-Fabric and Floodgate next to VieTure Tech on your Fabric server, and Bedrock players can join the Java server and see every VieTure block and item. The mod registers its content with Geyser and sends Bedrock players its resource pack automatically. Bedrock players use machines through a chest-style window, with energy shown on the action bar.
Each Geyser build only accepts a range of Bedrock versions:
| Java server | Bedrock clients |
|---|---|
| 1.21.8 | 1.21.90 - 1.21.111 |
| 1.21.11 | 1.21.130 - 26.20 |
Custom mobs (robots, thieves) and vehicles are not shown to Bedrock players through Geyser yet.
βοΈ Configuration
