Mod was made for Curseforge 2026 Echoes Of The Past Modjam in 10 days. Thats just an early beta, mostly to collect your feedback, so expect tons of bugs being there! And also tons of placeholder textures and unfinished GUIs.

Vestige is a exploration focused mod that adds rogue-like dungeons, rpg-styled classes with new custom mobs and items to deal with them and even a new boss with some lore on top!

To begin with the mod, you must find a new structure in the Overworld - Tavern. Basically a hub for any of the travelers here.

In the camp you can find various npcs such as:

Guide

Basically your way into the dungeon levels. By interacting with him you can start your journey!

Trader [WIP]

You can spend all your money trading with him! Lets you buy new starter items, consumables and more!

Retired Knight

The one who is responsible for your equipment. Interact with him to choose a class, change your starter weapon and upgrade your stuff!

After interacting with him, you must choose your starter class [you will be able to change your class with an item in future] - it powers you special abilities, lets you use specific weapons and much more. There are such classes as:

Warrior

Just a strong warrior. Starts his journey with a basic sword.

Special ability: Warrior Rage
Warrior enters flow state for the next 8 / 10 / 12 seconds, increasing his strength, attack speed and durability.

Archer

A well-prepared archer. Starts his journey with a longbow and a bunch of arrows.

Special ability: Archer`s Focus
Archer enters flow state for the next 6 / 9 / 12 seconds, slightly increasing his agility and speed of projectiles send by them.

Rogue

A coward and fast rogue. Starts his journey with two sharp daggers.

Special ability: Charged leap
Rogue quicky leaps forward, dealing any target in their way 5 / 10 / 15 damage. After the leap rogue gets attack speed boost for 2 / 4 / 6 seconds.

After preparing . . .

You are free to go! Head to the Guide npc to actually play the mod. There is only one, jungle level with a boss available for now, but tons of more levels are planned to be added! Join the Discord Server for sneakpeeks or to leave feedback, or maybe, report a bug.
