At the heart of Verdant Frontiers is a vision for more natural, immersive and breathtaking Minecraft landscapes.

Our world-generation ambitions include:

• Expansive continents with varied landscapes and natural geographical features.

• Towering mountains and dramatic valleys that create spectacular environments for exploration and building.

• Diverse biomes and unique regions, each with its own atmosphere and character.

• Expanded cave systems and underground environments, taking advantage of Minecraft's modern world height and depth.

• Ancient structures, mysterious landmarks and hidden discoveries scattered throughout the world.

Our goal is to create landscapes that feel connected, believable and rewarding to explore.

⚔️ Adventure, Bosses & Progression

Verdant Frontiers is intended to offer much more than beautiful landscapes.

As development progresses, players will encounter increasingly challenging adventures, powerful enemies and secrets hidden across different regions.

Planned progression features include:

• Six powerful regional bosses, each guarding a unique fragment.

• Legendary items and rewards earned through exploration and combat.

• Hidden locations and ancient structures containing clues to the world's mysteries.

• A progression system that rewards players for travelling beyond familiar territory.

Every region will have a purpose, and every adventure will bring you closer to discovering the world's greatest secrets.

✨ The Land of the Gods

Beyond the familiar world lies something extraordinary.

The Land of the Gods is one of our most ambitious planned features: a mysterious dimension intended to become the ultimate destination for experienced adventurers.

The vision is for players to defeat six regional bosses, collect their legendary fragments and unlock an ancient gateway leading to an entirely new realm.

This dimension is planned to feature unique environments, powerful encounters, mysterious locations and new challenges.

The Land of the Gods and its full progression system are still under development and should not yet be considered complete or fully playable.

🚧 IMPORTANT — WORK IN PROGRESS

Verdant Frontiers is currently in active development and is NOT a finished mod.

This is an early development project being shared as it evolves.

Some features may be incomplete, experimental, unavailable or subject to significant changes. You may encounter bugs, crashes, missing content, unexpected world generation or compatibility issues with other mods.

Please be aware:

• Not every feature described above is currently implemented.

• World generation and gameplay systems are still being developed and refined.

• Existing worlds may not remain compatible with future updates.

• Major features, including dimensions, bosses and progression systems, are planned for future development.

• We strongly recommend backing up your worlds before installing updates.

The current focus is developing and stabilising the Minecraft 1.21.1 version, improving compatibility and establishing a strong foundation for future features.

Our longer-term development ambitions include:

• More sophisticated and immersive terrain generation.

• Additional biomes, geographical regions and environmental variety.

• New structures, settlements and places to discover.

• Expanded exploration, combat and progression systems.

• The complete Land of the Gods experience.

• Further improvements to underground generation.

• Greater compatibility with other Minecraft mods and world-generation systems.

• New gameplay features and surprises that haven't yet been revealed.

These are development goals rather than guaranteed features or release dates.
