Venerium introduces a mysterious crystalline substance into Minecraft. Harvest its valuable resources, develop new technology, and explore a changing world, but beware. Left unchecked, Venerium spreads, contaminates the environment, and transforms the creatures living within it.

Inspired by the Tiberium universe of Command & Conquer, Venerium aims to bring a new kind of environmental threat into Minecraft's open world.

The goal is to create a living, evolving experience where a mysterious resource offers extraordinary technological opportunities while gradually transforming the world around it.

• Living Contamination — Watch Venerium spread across the landscape, transforming blocks, vegetation, and entire regions.

• Containment & Survival — Monitor pollution with a scanner, protect yourself from exposure, and use Sonic Injectors to suppress spreading.

Getting Started

Your journey begins with a Signal Beacon.

Craft and place the beacon, then right-click it to request a meteor strike. After a short countdown, a meteor will crash nearby, bringing Venerium into your world.

From there, the choice is yours: harvest the crystals, explore the contaminated area, and begin developing your technology.

Pollution & Containment

Venerium isn't just a resource. It's a growing environmental threat.

As pollution increases, the surrounding area becomes more dangerous, exposing living creatures to Venerium poisoning and allowing contamination to spread through the landscape.

Use the Pollution Scanner to monitor affected areas and identify spreading risks.

To contain the infestation, place a Sonic Injector in the affected chunk and supply it with Sonic Crystal Dust or Charged Sonic Crystals. While powered, the injector suppresses spreading within that chunk.

Remember: Containment stops the spread, but it doesn't remove existing contamination. Handle active crystals and spreaders with caution!
