What's new
Velvet Night 2.1.0 — Shader Horizon & Settings Rebuild
- Fixed bright blue/gray horizons and visible distant terrain after nearby terrain was already dark.
- Added recognized Complementary and BSL control for sky, fog, clouds, volumetric light, glare, and brightness-lift paths.
- Added a **Distance & sky darkness** slider with separate values for every preset.
- Fixed Iris/Oculus detection incorrectly reporting `Vanilla renderer` while a shader bridge was active.
- Fixed presets and shader settings remaining stuck on old compile-time values; presets now reload immediately and **Apply & done** recompiles slider fallbacks.
- True Dark now keeps maximum darkness at every moon phase instead of losing roughly one third of its strength at a full moon.
- Renamed **Moon variance** to **Full-moon relief** and automatically migrates old True Dark settings.
- Made **Protect block light** and **Cool night tint** functional in the recognized shader paths.
- Added `LAP` bridge coverage and live uniform-value diagnostics to F8.
- Preserves separate torch, lantern, emissive, and shader block-light paths.
- Client-side Forge and Fabric builds for Minecraft 1.20.1; Fabric API is not required.
